Day 27

Last night I randomly conducted this interview with Erin. She definitely doesn't lack in personality. That's for sure!! It is a long video, but I think it's fairly entertaining.

Here's one from way back.

When I tucked her in tonight, she squeezed my neck and goes, "I'm gonna keep you forever!" It was the sweetest thing ever! Completely melts my heart.

Funny story - I always check on the kids when I go back to my bedroom at night...and also again when I actually go to sleep. The first time last night when I checked on Jack, he was sound asleep in his bed. Then when I came back a couple of hours later, he was nowhere to be found. I searched the entire baby zone...nowhere. So as I started to panic, I began shouting his name. I found him asleep standing up, with his head leaned on the seat of our computer chair. I'm not sure if he did it on purpose or if he was sleep walking. He claims that he remembers walking over to the chair though. A picture would've been classic, but my shouts had woken him up, so I didn't have a chance.

Last night I was trying to get a picture of Jack's new pajamas, but he wouldn't stop moving (imagine that), so the picture kept turning out blurry. So I said, "Take a deep breath and don't move." This is what I got.

Today is Roi boy's 8th birthday. After the kids sang to him, they did the leftover piñata from Grace's party.

Here are some pictures that are several years old. The crazier life has gotten, the more Roi has been put on the back burner, but he really is THE best dog for the kids, as you can see by the pictures. It's also no wonder Jack calls Roi his "brother."

Nothing exciting to report here. Back to school for the girls tomorrow! Jack gets an extra day off, as tomorrow is a Teacher Work Day, so he and Colin will be hangin' out together. 9 more weeks of school!! Let the countdown begin!

Day 25

Grace played with her dress up clothes today. Here is Grace the beautiful mermaid.

Amber texted me this picture today while I was at the gym. I don't think I had seen it before. This was a few days before Erin was born. Yikes, is all I can say!

This afternoon we went to BJs, Walmart, Aldi, and Publix for our necessities. We ended up eating lunch at BJs.

By the time we were ready to leave BJs, it was pouring down rain and blowing. There were actually tornado warnings in the area. The kids were terrified, as evidenced by their facial expressions. We ended up going back inside and waiting it out rather than getting soaked. 

Last night, while we were gone, Roi decided to take a little stroll around the neighborhood. I couldn't find him. It was 10:00 when I was looking, so it was hard to see anything. I put his food and water outside and went to bed. Then at midnight, a neighbor came knocking at our door saying she had him in her bathroom.  Colin went down and got him. He came back wet and filthy, so off to the groomers he went today!

It's hard to leave out the others, even when Grace is really the only one that needs to eat the extra calories. Hair do by Colin, by the way! Suits her well. 

Here is the video of Grace getting her bike. She wasn't too thrilled I guess, but I'm sure it will grow on her!

We are off to RELAX, eat dinner in peace, and watch a movie (Delivery Day this time). I'm already ready for bed! I donated blood this morning, and I've felt soooo tired and dizzy ever since. It usually doesn't phase me, but my BP was a bit low, so I'm guessing that's why.

Day 24

Tonight we are at Grandma and Grandpa's for dinner. Uncle Mike took the kids for a spin on the golf cart. They loved it! We could hear the squeals from afar.

The kids and I went for a picnic at the lake today. It was veeeerrrrry windy!!

Day 23

This afternoon I headed to Millennia to meet up with Jessica from LLS TNT for lunch. I received a plaque for being a "High Fundraiser" for Wine and Dine, which I loved, of course. Thanks again (and again and again) to all who donated. 

Jessica also went over a new program that TNT is getting ready to launch. I'm going to be involved in the launch and also implementing the program. I also may be either a mentor or a coach if I feel like I can fulfill the time commitment. The program is called "Moms In Training". In a nutshell, it is a program which targets moms. It will require much lower fundraising minimums ($500) and much shorter races (5ks). The first race that we will be doing is the Watermelon 5k. This race is on July 4 (my bday!! :)) in Winter Park. 

Participants are: 30-40 years old (give or take a few years), have children ages newborn through 10 years old, a mix of working and stay at home moms, new runners, or moms looking to get in better shape. 

There will be an 8-week training program which caters to moms of all fitness levels. Moms will meet every Saturday for a group run with a TNT coach. They are welcome to bring babies in strollers to the trainings. They will also get weekly emails from a TNT mentor who will help out with fundraising ideas. 

I'm helping to recruit PARTICIPANTS, moms who are interested in joining. I'm also looking for people who are interested in a PARTNERSHIP. Partners are businesses who would donate space on their website or in their place of business, in exchange for similar promotion from the Moms In Training campaign. 

Moms in Training started in 2012 in NYC with 30 moms in Madison Square Park. In the last two years, the program has seen a lot of demand and growth. At the end of 2013, over 350 moms have participated, raising over $500,000.

Local moms...Do you know someone who has been touched by cancer? Have you been affected by cancer? Do you want to give back and make a difference? Do you want to get in shape and meet other local moms? 

If you want to get in shape, meet moms, AND fight cancer, please let me know!!

This morning we said, "see ya later" and then I drove my parents to the airport. We had a really great visit. It went by so fast, and we kept very busy. Not much sitting around the house with the kids, which is always a good thing!! 

 Now, off to get the kids to bed...running about an hour behind and still have lots and lots and LOTS of laundry to do tonight.

Day 22

Grace colored a Sofia the First purse that she got from the Walters for her birthday this morning.






She was so focused and did such a great job. I was very surprised at how good she did!






Mimi and Papa took the big kids to Waterfront Park to ride bikes while Erin, Colin, and I ran some errands. Grace got a brand new shiny bike for her birthday, but she still prefers the tricycle.
























Miss Lizzie came to babysat tonight so we could do a double date at Carrabba's. Lots of fun!

Day 21

Yesterday we brought the kids to Explorations V Children's Museum in Lakeland. They always have so much fun there!

Grace enjoys the Publix exhibit. She loves to pretend!

Today we went out on Uncle Mike's boat. We drove the boat to the ice cream shop and park, then back. Lots of fun for all of us, even though it was a chilly and windy afternoon. Thanks, Mike!

And THIS is the reason my children will never get in these Florida lakes. I spotted him myself today.
