Once again, very sadly, I've gotten a month+ behind on my blogging. Trust me, if I had time and energy, I'd be sitting at this computer every night, blogging. I love going back through and reading. It is way too much to catch up on, so I'm just going to do pictures with the occasional explanation. Many of the pictures are just me experimenting with camera settings and practicing my photography.
One funny story from Grace is fresh in my mind because it just happened yesterday. We were driving home from school, and she was telling me about a new friend she'd like to invite over to her house. I asked her which one that was because I still don't have names to faces for all of her classmates. She said, "She's the one that is brown on her face, her legs, and even her toes. AND IT'S NOT PAINT, MOMMY!" She was so excited.
One thing I do definitely want to document is Erin's 2 year stats:
25 lbs. 5 oz. ( 50th percentile)
34.23 inches ( 57th percentile)
Gracie got her 2nd haircut (her first REAL haircut). She loves it!
We are loving football season, and we are impatiently waiting for some cooler weather!
This was Jack's first day in the 4 year old preschool classroom. He's doing great in his new class, and he loves school and his friends. His teacher loves his art skills. He has a little bit of homework (which he doesn't mind doing at all), and he loves show and tell on Fridays.
We traveled to Chicago for Shannon's wedding last month. We had a wonderful time the entire weekend. The rest of my family went a couple of days before me since I was only in the second week of school starting and couldn't take more than a day off. This is a picture of the girls on the bus that took them to the airport from the parking spot.

Another highlight was taking Jack to his first Cubs game. He received all sorts of special treatment all around. Daddy spoiled him, big time. He was allowed to get anything that people were walking by selling. At one point, the beer guy came by, and Jack raised his hand, not even know what he was trying to buy. He got a giant cookie, a hot dog, a water, and peanuts (I'm sure I'm forgetting something.).

| I got home from my training last Saturday, and this was the outfit G had chosen to wear for the day. A romper, a tutu, shoes that are 3 sizes too small that she just can't part with, and one of my race medals. Love the creativity! Oh, and how could I forget the accessories...2 bracelets! |

I got Erin all decked out for the game today, in hopes that we could finally get a win. No such luck!
Jack went to bed last night telling me it hurt when he yawned. He woke up in the middle of the night with a fever and sore throat and swollen glands. I took him to the doctor this morning, and sure enough, he has strep. Poor little guy has been down and out. Sicknesses never get this guy down. He's been laying around all day long, with no energy or appetite. I'm pretty sure he will start to feel better tomorrow once the antibiotics do their job. He has been so sweet and calm. While I do feel awful and helpless, it has been nice!
