Rolling Over

Within the last couple of weeks, little Jack has started rolling over. We can hardly keep him off of his belly. When he's having back time on the floor, he almost always hikes his little legs up and pushes himself over!! Once he gets on his belly and pushes himself up, he just hangs out like that for a while. He also started sleeping on his side at night in his crib.

Update

Hi friends! I just wanted to get on here and post some more pictures. We are all doing great and enjoying the wonderful Florida spring weather. Yesterday we spent a couple of hours at Disney, and then we came home to watch Purdue basketball!!!

Jack is doing great. He continues to be such a fun and happy baby. The latest milestones that he has hit include pushing himself up and holding his head up when he's on his belly as well as LAUGHING!! It's so great to hear. Colin is the best at making him laugh. His daddy just cracks him up! I want to figure out how to post videos on here so I can share it. It's the cutest! His favorite song is SHOUT! He loves to laugh and dance while we play that song. That's another video that I need to post on here. Grandma Moller will be here for the week spending time with little Jack while we are working. Colin returns to his normal schedule this week, plus he is taking a class and having to keep up with his lawn business. It'll be a very busy week around here. We are counting down the days to spring break when we can be back "home" and relax!

I've been on a quest to lose those last 10 pounds. I gained 60 total while I was pregnant. I lost about 45 within a couple weeks. The majority of that weight was an ELEVEN pound baby plus gallons of water retention. Let's remember how I looked right before I had little Jack:

HUGE. I mean maternity clothes didn't even really fit me. That shirt clearly didn't have the ability to cover my 9 month pregnant belly. My legs were like tree trunks! Since having Jack, I haven't really done much strenuous exercise. I was not supposed to do anything until I was cleared at my 6 week postpartum appointment. After that is when I returned to work and things just got really busy. Nichole (teaching partner) and I walk most days after school, but other than that, not much exercise! And I haven't eaten the greatest either. I had no idea that breastfeeding would increase my appetite like this. But anyways, yesterday I bought the DVD by Jillian Michaels (the Biggest Loser personal trainer) called 30 Day Shred. I love it! It's only about a half hour work out, but it's intense the whole time. I fit in to all of my pre-preggo clothes, but my goal is to lose the last 10 pounds by June. Wish me luck!!! I'll have to be in a bathing suit at the end of July when we are in Gatlinburg. Like I've mentioned, I'm way behind on blogging. I'm just now posting pictures from when my mom, dad, and sister were here which was the week of February 22nd. I had to go back to work that week. It was SUCH a great thing to have them here. I knew Jack was in good hands, and I didn't even have to worry about a thing while I was at school. It made the transition so much easier for me. I was living in a false reality though because my mom did most (okay, all) of the cooking and cleaning that week. We had so much fun as always. We stayed home for the most part. We did venture out and go shopping a couple of times, and Colin and my dad went out golfing. I was so sad to see them go, but it always helps when another trip is planned. We will be back up north for Spring Break soon!

For the rest of the month, Colin took vacation hours during the day of his shift days. So on A shift days, he doesn't go in until I get home from work. It has worked out wonderfully, and he is enjoying his days home with Jack all to himself. I must brag on him... he is such a super daddy to little Jack, and I love watching them together. PLUS, he even gets housework done when Jack is napping. I come home from work and laundry is done, dinner is planned, etc. Next month, it will be back to reality. Jack will go to preschool 1-2 days a week. I'm sure it will be harder to keep up with getting things done around the house, but something's gotta give, right!? I'm looking at the bright side - I'm home by 3:30 every day, we're very lucky with both of our schedules, Colin is home during the week a lot, spring break is just around the corner, and I'm counting down the days to June 5th (last day of school). Keep in touch, and we can't wait to see everyone next month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jack is doing so great. He sleeps and eats like a champ. He is such a happy and laid back guy. He smiles constantly, and he makes a really cute little giggle sound that I just LOVE. Seriously, that's all I can think about at school is coming home and hearing that noise. It's so precious.

Disney

I'm getting Jack started early! We spent Saturday and Epcot and Sunday and Magic Kingdom. I had planned on going to Epcot with the girl I teach with in order to make a scavenger hunt for our field trip. We are taking our kids there in May, and we want them doing certain things, so we were planning that out. Colin was working, so I brought Jack along. He did SO wonderful! We had lunch in France, and the lady who was at the table next to us commented on his good behavior. :) He especially loved the movie in China. It's a dome theatre with the movie going on all around you, so he just kept moving his head looking all around. He also did the Nemo ride and the boat ride in Living with the Seas. It was so much fun. Thhhhheeeeen, comes Sunday. The weather was perfect. Colin came home from work that morning, and I was telling him all about it. He told me he wanted to get an annual pass. So he did, and we went to Magic Kingdom. Again, it was such a fun day. Jack seemed to really enjoy looking at all the bright colors on the rides. He did Pirates, Small World, Haunted Mansion, the people mover, and watched a parade. Enjoy the pictures!
