Day 20

I don't think Grace and I could've had a more fun day than we did at Disney yesterday. It was perfect. I told her she was calling all the shots. Every time I felt like she might be getting tired, I'd ask her if she was ready to go home. The answer was always NO. We left around 8:15AM and got home around 10PM. I think she takes after her mom in loving a full day at the parks!! It was a fun-filled day.

Walking In:

 Grace begged me to meet Cinderella. It was the first thing we had to do. Then we got up there, and she wouldn't even look at her. She was very shy. Same story last year with Minnie!!!

Shopping - I had a $50 rewards card that I had got from my Disney Visa card. We went in the Emporium, and I told her she could get anything she wanted. She looked and looked through all of her choices. Then she picked a pair of flip flops!! I told her she could pick one more thing since they were only $12, so she got the spinning Minnie below. Then we went to the Confectionary, and she picked out a 3 pack of lollipops--one for her, one for Jack, and one for Erin. She's my shopper!!

 Fantasmic:

Leaving Magic Kingdom to head to Hollywood Studios. So glad Gracie loves Disney!!! Such great memories and such a fabulous day for us! Now...who knows of a very part time job I could obtain with Disney so I can do this a few times a month!?!?!?!?

Stats from doctor today:

Jack
43 lbs. 58th percentile
44.25 inches 65th percentile
The doctor estimated his final height to be around 5'11.
He got away shot-free. He's fully vaccinated. Woohoo!

Grace
29 lbs. 6th percentile - The doctor said to let her eat any time she wants, to feed her ice cream and milkshakes, and to give her a couple of snacks in between every meal. I swear, the girl really does eat!!
39 inches 35th percentile
The doctor estimated her final height to be around 5'3.
She had 1 shot, but was due for 3 and I only like them to get one at a time, so I'll have to bring her back 2 more times in the next couple of months for her other shots.

Day 19

Happy Birthday, Grace. 3/23/2010 8:56AM

The happiest of 4th birthday wishes to our sweet Gracie!!!!!! She's silly, calm (at least the calmest and most obedient of the McCormick bunch at the time being!!), very independent, tiny and petite, sweet and loving as can be, animated, and super girlie (but not afraid of getting dirty). Currently she's a big fan of Frozen and any princess, make-up, being outside, riding her tricycle, gymnastics, and dressing up/pretending. 

Grace, you are such good girl. We are incredibly proud of you. You bless us more than you'll ever know!!

I always have so much fun going down memory lane and looking at old pictures for the kids' birthday posts. Then it blows my mind how fast time flies.  There's nothing like looking through my 11,000 pictures on the computer to give me a reality check about my babies growing up!!!
