Jack got this car from the Senasec's when he turned one. He still loves it, and so does Gracie!

Today ended Jack's soccer season. Grace was a natural out there kicking the ball. She was aggressive and tried to steal it from a few of the bigger kids too!

Jack, well... this picture sums up his feelings about soccer! LOL  Maybe he will be more of a baseball or basketball kind of guy! I can't blame him. He isn't crying here. He's just laying down showing us how he feels about being dragged out in the 90 degree heat to kick a ball around.And that IS my giant belly in the shadow...wow!

I'm up early sitting at the blood center for my glucose tolerance test, so I may as well do something productive while I wait the hour. Last night Colin and Jack headed to soccer while Grace and I went for a long walk. The weather is perfect this week, and I'm being sure to enjoy every second of it before the heat kicks back in.


The wittle princess (as Jack was calling her last night) fell asleep on the way back. I really don't think she naps well at school at all.

I don't recall ever 'nesting' with the other two, but lately I feel the strong urge to get stuff done around here! Devin was here to play with Jack for a few hours this weekend, so I took the opportunity to get some things organized. I emptied the kids' closets this weekend and started from scratch. Freed up an entire half of Gracie's closet for the new baby.

We went for a LOOOOONG walk this morning. Pushing that stroller is a workout, let me tell you. I texted Colin that if he were home, I totally would've had him come pick us up. We made it though! And I needed to get the extra exercise after our date night last night where we ate a piece of Reese cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory.

I think I've mentioned this before, but both kids absolutely love this toy. It entertains them for a lot longer than most things do. With the second crib in the girls' room, there really isn't any space in there for it anymore. So...the first toy makes its entrance into our living room. We are very anal about keeping toys in their rooms!!!

Gracie grabbed her blanky and lounged in her chair for a few minutes this morning.

Like always on weekends, we headed to see Colin after naps.

Then, Colin and Jack ambushed me and got me soaked with these medicine syringes that Colin says are "firefighter squirt guns".

I added this to Grace's crib today, and she absolutely loves it! Every time we've walked into her room today she has waved to the fishies.

Is it just me or has my belly grown so much in just a few days!? I feel quite large!

I told him to say, "cheese". This is what I got. Aside: Thank goodness our walls our being painting next week!

I'm afraid big brother is teaching her bad habits. The baby zone is no longer my saving grace for Jack. He can escape in a heartbeat! Looks like Grace is attempting to do the same.

Grace is all about giving hugs and kisses nowadays, when she feels like it, of course!

A local elementary school is performing The Jungle Book as a play tomorrow. I'm tentatively planning on taking Jack, depending on how our day is going (his behavior, ahem....) So he might be attending his first play tomorrow! If so, I'll take pictures. :)

Just one picture tonight. I had been running around the house doing some things when I came back to the "baby zone" to find them sitting side-by-side each doing their own thing. Grace was playing with her purse and Jack was reading his book. I thought it was so sweet, so I quickly grabbed my camera. Grace is a drooling machine while she is cutting a bottom tooth or two, as you can see! And Jack...has one shoe on and who knows where the other one is. :)

We had a quick but fun visit with the Caruso family. I didn't get many pictures, but love the shot below of Pete with the 2 little girls. I think Grace will make a great big sister! She was really interested in baby Gabby. You don't see many pictures without a smile from Gracie. Both Jack and Grace have sinus infections after a cold that lingered for 2 weeks. We finally brought them to the doctor this morning, mainly because Jack wasn't sleeping and both were extremely crabby. Turns out they needed to be on antibiotics for a sinus infection.
