I have lots of pictures and videos to share. Here is one of the three best buds. Maddox (March 9), Gracie (March 23), and Wes (February 4). Everyone is en route home and I'm already missing them. We had the best time!

I just wanted to document that as of yesterday, Gracie has reached Jack's birth weight of 10 lbs. 14.5 oz. Getting big!

Just a Funny Story From Today

I'm sure it's no secret that this little boy has quite the ornery side to him! Here I was sitting on the couch feeding Gracie (he is smart and knows that I can't get to him during these times) while he preceded to get a roll of toilet paper from the bathroom, tear some off, dip it in the toilet, and put it in his mouth. He is hiding behind the chair because he KNOWS what he is doing is wrong. This is just a phone picture, but hopefully you can enlarge it to see that look in his eyes! What a mischievous little character we have!

Mother's Day 2010

Edited to Add: That is NOT Colin and I on the floor at the mall. Those are two other kids that were playing there. Colin left a comment about a stranger giving Jack his drink. It's true - Jack ran over to a guy and was trying to get his drink. The guy was quick to put the cup down to his level so he could reach the straw and help himself!! Seriously!?! What is wrong with people? I bolted across the play area and the guy, in his accent, said, "it's ok, no?" And I was like, "NO!" What in the world!?!?!?

Happy Mother's Day!!!

We celebrated my second Mother's Day today with a second baby. It was very special and fun. I woke up to lots of hugs and kisses from little Budgie. I opened 3 cards - one from each baby and one from Colin.

Then we went and had brunch at Disney. We started that tradition last year. This year we went to the Wilderness Lodge to a restaurant called Whispering Canyon.

Jack enjoyed a Mickey waffle. It was a fun atmosphere.

It was lots of fun but definitely hectic. Midway through eating, Gracie woke up hungry. I went to the car to feed her, and before I knew it... here come Colin and Jack. Jack was in major need of a diaper change, so Colin just left. Haha!! Such is life with two babies. It was lots of fun though, and we would love to go back. It looked like an awesome place to stay!

Then we left and went looking for a new pair of running shoes for me. That was the babies' gift to me. I got cleared at my 6 week appointment to start exercising. My poor body has gotten extremely out of shape over the course of the last two years of being pregnant. I started running this week doing a program called Couch to 5K. It gradually works your way up to running about 3 miles. I also signed up for a 5K at the National Training Center in July. I'm really wanting to run/walk the mini marathon next May! The few times I've ran I've been wearing my shoes that I just wear out and about. They have no support, and I might as well have been running in flip flops. Very excited to go running in my new shoes tonight after the babies go to bed and it cools off a bit!! We found the perfect pair, and I love them.

While we were shopping for shoes, Gracie needed to eat again so we let Jack play in this little carpeted area. He definitely burned off some energy running around with all of the other kids there.

The last of my Mother's Day gifts is a photo session for the babies on Tuesday. SO excited about this. She gives all of the pictures to you on disc, so I will be sure to post them up as soon as I get them.

I'm one lucky momma to have the greatest babies I could ever ask for. We had a super time spending the day together. Colin made me feel extra special and loved. :) Couldn't ask for a better person to raise my babies with either!

On a side note, here is a picture of the kids while we were shopping at Lowes the other day. When we all go shopping, usually one of us pushes the kids in a cart while the other one pushes the cart with the groceries (or whatever we are shopping for).

Last night I was folding laundry on the bed and Gracie was waiting to get her nightly bath. She was kicking and cooing away when all of the sudden I looked over and saw this:

She was like to heck with you lady. I'm done waiting!

Gracie's First Trip to the Fire Station

I'm not going to write a lot tonight. Had a bit of a traumatic day. I killed a HUGE wolf spider in our closet this morning and screamed for a good minute. If that wasn't bad enough, right when I hit the spider with a shoe, hundreds of her babies that she was carrying on her back went scattering all over our closet floor. I was on the phone with Colin when I spotted the spider, so he witnessed the whole thing over the phone. Apparently he feels that I have a flair for the drama because he wanted a picture of the "hundreds of spiders". He quickly saw that I wasn't exaggerating and got an exterminator out here ASAP!!!!

Anyways, enjoy some pictures from Gracie's first trip to visit Dad at work. She was unimpressed at first as you can see, but then she woke up!
